Rules for Playing Blackjack at Casino

Playing BlackJack is not very complicated. The game is about getting as close to the sum of 21 as possible with two or more cards without going over. You play against a dealer who deals cards and manages the bets according to pre-determined rules. There are a number of different variants of BlackJack and the rules may differ slightly from different casinos. Here we go through the most common variant, if you want to immerse yourself in other variants, feel free to read more about Blackjack tips .

The course of the game

A round starts with everyone betting money, there is always a minimum amount that you can bet and often also a maximum amount. When everyone has bet, each player receives two cards each. The dealer also gets two cards, but here is one with the back side up. Cards 2-9 have the value indicated by the number, all face-up cards have a value of ten and aces are worth one or eleven. When it's yours Blackjack luckily, you should decide if you want more cards that allow you to get closer to 21 or if you are happy with what you have, in which case you choose to stay. You can also in some cases choose to split or double, which we will return to below. When everyone is happy, it's the dealer's turn to play. The donor has predetermined rules for how he should act. The most common is that he must take a new card as long as he is under 17 and must stay when he is 17-21.

Winner of BlackJack

A player wins if his card when the round is completed is closer to 21 than the dealer's card. If someone goes over 21 (you get fat) then they have immediately lost the round. If the dealer gets fat, everyone who is left in the game wins. If you have the same amount, different rules apply depending on where you play. In some places you always keep your bet and in other places it applies that if the dealer and the player both have 17, 18 or 19, the dealer wins. If both have 20 or 21, it will be a draw and you can keep your money. This is a pretty important factor for your chances of winning in the long run so it's worth checking out what applies.

If you win, you get as much as you bet in profit. If you get 21 on your first two cards, you have received blackjack and you then get one and a half times the bet back. If you have blackjack and the dealer has an ace as an open card, you can choose to settle for once the bet so as not to risk sharing.
